EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING TO APPRECIATE (2)

Gratitude is a way of seeing life and the world.
Somebody somewhere is praying to have at least one thing you have right now.
Let's stop taking our blessings for granted.

Sense of appreciation trains the heart to recognize blessings that familiarity has made almost invisible.
A grateful person is not someone with a perfect life, but someone who chooses to acknowledge the good that exists even in imperfect circumstances.

It's up to us to choose contentment and gratitude, to stop imagining that everything has to be perfect before we'll be happy.

As the Roman philosopher Seneca wisely observed, "It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor."
His words remind us that ingratitude comes not from scarcity but from an unending desire for more.

Likewise, the writer G. K. Chesterton wrote, "I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder."
