Hearing from God requires stillness.

Listening doesn't have to come as an audible voice as people believe.
It comes as clarity in confusion, peace in turmoil, wisdom in decision-making, or conviction in our conscience.

Balancing prayer with listening also requires humility.
When we pray, we often have specific outcomes in mind.
We ask for doors to open, for situations to change, for people to respond in certain ways.

But hearing from God means being willing to accept answers that may differ from our expectations.
It means trusting that His perspective is higher and His timing is wiser.
